Your host for the night, Pride’s Got Talent winner Jordan Charles, will guide you through an evening of eclectic performances: from cabaret and comedy to poetry and ventriloquism.

What will you experience?
A cabaret night in an intimate theatre in Croydon. Audience members will be seated in front of a stage. A host will introduce different artists who will be performing comedy, poetry, sketches, theatre and ventriloquism. There will be two intervals.
About the performances
Bernadette Russell - Gloria Darling presents: Your Hopes and Dreams - Gloria Darling, fairy godmother, was lucky enough to collect all your hopes, dreams and wishes throughout Liberty Festival. After stirring them all up in her Magical Imagination Cauldron, she has come up with a moving, hilarious and surprising poem for your delectation
Ellen Renton - An Eye For An Eye For An Eye - A performance from Scottish poet Ellen Renton, whose writing will move you through the experience of growing up a girl, and learning how to see differently in a world that looks at you strangely.
Shelf - A queer comedy double act blending music and anecdotes about everything from ladies toilets to the instagram algorithm.

About the artists
Bernadette Russell - Gloria Darling is a freelance fairy godmother, dispenser of wishes , poet, storyteller and a very good listener. She tells funny stories and leaves a trail of eco-glitter wherever she goes...
DISCO DISCO is a theatre company of learning disabled and autistic adults, run by Drunken Chorus. The group meet weekly in Croydon to devise their own performances, inspired by the world around them, in a relaxed and inclusive environment
Ellen Renton is a poet, performer, and theatre maker from Edinburgh. She is a former recipient of both the Unlimited Emerging Artist Award and the R&D award, which supported her solo theatre show Within Sight and a multimedia installation about home and family history respectively. In 2021 she released her debut poetry pamphlet with Stewed Rhubarb Press and was awarded a Scottish Emerging Writer residency at Cove Park. She regularly collaborates with artists from other disciplines, including electronic musician Lord of the Isles, filmmaker Douglas Tyrrell Bunge, and movement director Rachel Drazek.
Jordan Charles is the winner of Pride’s Got Talent 2023! Dazzling audiences at the Adelphi Theatre on the West End and Trafalgar Square's Pride Main Stage, he’s having a stellar year. This poet, performer and playwright has starred in TV shows such as ITV’s Starstruck, as a judge on BBC1’s 'All Together Now' BBC1’s Let it Shine.
Lachlan Werner is comedy's poof prince of puppets. The "funniest new ventriloquist on the block" (Telegraph), clown and live artist, he was runner up for LGBTQ+ New Comedian Of The Year '22 and a nominee for VAULT Comedy Breakthrough Award and the ISH Best Newcomer Edinburgh Comedy Award. His solo show 'Voices Of Evil' has been a total sell out hit at Soho Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, VAULT Festival, The Pleasance London, Brighton Fringe, London Clown Festival, winner of ReviewsHub Best Show Award, and nominated for an Off-WestEnd Award and Soho Playhouse New York Award. He can frequently be seen yelling at himself with a small squishy witch. He is graduate of Ecole Philippe Gaulier and a member of the clown company, Pointy Finger.
