WHO KNOWS???

Hello!!!

And welcome to WHO KNOWS??? - The digital and live Pub Quiz that takes Croydon celebrities, local landmarks and borough-based facts, mixes them with party food, interpretive dance and a party atmosphere, and asks the audience (that’s you lot): WHO KNOWS???

We are your quizmasters - Sheena and Chris - from Drunken Chorus. Some of you may recognise us from Goole Youth Theatre’s legendary production of: Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (more on that later).

We’ve prepared 6 rounds of questions and challenges for you. From Croydon-themed crafts to electronic ukulele horror music, plus one of our personal favourites - the party food round!

The first three rounds will be digital - you can play these from home, write down your answers, and we’ll mark them together towards the end of next week.

And for those of you that can join us at A Bit Of A Knees Up - our closing night cabaret - on Saturday 29 October - there’ll be a further three live rounds to wrap up the quiz.

And don’t forget - it’s all about the taking part! There are no prizes for winning this quiz. Some of you may be thinking: Well, what’s the point of doing the quiz if there are no prizes? Well, frankly… WHO KNOWS???

So, let’s get on with it shall we? We’re going straight in with our first round. And you won’t be needing a pen and paper for this one – well maybe some paper – because this is…

THE CRAFT ROUND

The aim of this round, is to create a miniature replica of your favourite Croydon landmark. Now, as this part of the quiz is digital, some of you may not be familiar with Croydon... Well… WHO KNOWS???

As many of you will already know, Sheena is a seasoned crafter, and has actually gained quite a lot of recognition - critical acclaim even - for her intricate models of famous landmarks - including the Golden Gate Bridge, The Leaning Tower of Pisa and Angkor Wat

So, for this craft round, Sheena recommends that after choosing your favourite landmark, you gather your best crafting materials together so that you’re nice and prepared.

Once you’ve got your landmark and materials together it’s time to get creative. But before you do, we’ve put together the handy video guide below, full of tips and inspiration from Sheena - our very own legendary crafter...
