Opening Night Cabaret: George the Dragon’s Cabaret of Curiosities

  • The Front Room 37 - 39 Saint George's Walk Croydon, England, CR0 1YL United Kingdom (map)

A cabaret extravaganza to launch A Bit Of A Do 2022

About the Event

Every year we kick off our annual festival with a night of cabaret, comedy, music, theatre and dance. In 2022 we invited some friends to take over the opening night…

Hosted by the lip-syncing, cock-wielding George the Dragon, Cabaret of Curiosities featured king-with-the-violin Frankie Heartless, Rick Dove, Queer as an Arro, the Wheel Elvis, CJ Hopkins, Rhys Thorne and Linda Wicker. Each performer has some kind of disability – visible or not – and we can’t wait to show you what we can do. Prepare to be served drag, spoken word, comedy, and live music. This will be a cabaret extravaganza not to be missed!

What did you experience?

This was a cabaret night in an intimate theatre in Croydon. Audience members were seated at small tables. Your host, George the Dragon introduced different artists who presented drag, spoken word, comedy and live music. There was an interval.
